1. Introduction
SmartCharge Dock® is a smart temperature-controlled charging dock designed to protect your smartphone battery from heat and overcharging. This manual explains setup, operation, safety, and troubleshooting.

3. Before You Begin
- Ensure the dock is placed on a flat surface.
- Avoid covering the phone during charging.
- Use your existing charger for best compatibility.
- Ensure room ventilation for accurate temperature sensing.
4. How to Use SmartCharge Dock
Step 1 — Power Connection
Plug the dock’s supply cable into your home’s 2-pin AC outlet.
Step 2 — Connect Your Charger
Plug your existing phone charger into the dock’s 2-pin AC outlet.
Step 3 — Place Your Smartphone
Place your phone on the dock. Temperature sensing and monitoring start automatically.
Step 4 — Auto Cut-Off
The dock stops charging automatically when either the timer ends or the temperature limit is reached.
Charging resumes only when safe.
5. OLED Display Guide
OLED Screen (Example)
What Each Display Item Means

CHARGING : ON — Charging Status
Shows whether the phone is charging.
ON = charging active.
OFF = charging stopped due to timer or temperature cutoff. -
0:20 — Remaining Charging Time
Shows how much time is left before automatic charging cutoff.
Example: 0 hours 20 minutes remain. -
3:00 — Timer Cut-Off Setting
Total charging time limit you have set (e.g., 3 hr 0 min). -
28.4°C — Phone’s Actual Body Temperature
Real-time temperature measured by the dock’s thermal sensor. -
40°C — Temperature Cut-Off Limit
When the phone reaches this temperature, charging is immediately stopped to protect the battery.
6. Keypad Functions
SmartCharge Dock® includes four tactile buttons used to configure temperature limit, timer duration, and charging control.
Each button has both short press and long press actions for quick operation.
MODE Button
Long Press (5 seconds):
- Opens the Configuration Page
- Inside this page, you can:
- Change Timer Duration
- Change Temperature Cut-Off Value
UP Button
- Increases the temperature limit
- Increases timer duration
- Moves the value upward in steps
- Used inside configuration page to raise values
DOWN Button
- Decreases the temperature limit
- Decreases timer duration
- Moves the value downward in steps
- Used inside configuration page to reduce values
ENTER Button
Short Press:
- Charging ON / OFF toggle
- Saves the selected value
- Confirms changes inside the configuration page
- Exits the setting mode
Long Press (5 seconds):
- Restarts the Timer
- Starts a fresh charging cycle without modifying settings
Default Values
SmartCharge Dock® comes with safe pre-configured defaults:
- Temperature Cut-Off: 40°C
- Timer Cut-Off: 3 Hours
You can modify these anytime using the keypad.
7. Safety Precautions
- Do not use the dock in extremely hot environments.
- Always use good quality chargers and cables.
- Avoid covering the phone with clothes or bedsheets during charging.
- If the phone battery is swollen or damaged — stop using immediately.
- Keep the dock dry and never disassemble it.
8. Troubleshooting

Phone not charging
Check if the timer ended or temperature cutoff activated. Ensure charger is connected properly. -
Display off
Check power connection and cables. -
Auto cutoff too fast
Increase temperature cutoff to 38–40°C. -
Temperature seems inaccurate
Ensure the phone is placed correctly and remove thick covers.
9. Warranty
SmartCharge Dock comes with a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects only.
Does not cover water damage, physical damage, or misuse.
